Location & Significance

Designed for Charles C. Chapman by architect M. Eugene Durfee, the Chapman Building is referred to by the city’s website as “Fullerton’s most outstanding commercial structure”. Built in 1923, the 65-footer was the tallest building in Orange County at the time, and has design elements of Southern California that are reminiscent of the Chicago School of skyscraper architecture. It was our pleasure to retrofit Fullerton’s monumental building.
